I have expertise in tradeshow representation and brand management, combined with a demonstrated history of contributing to significant organizational growth within the hospitality and tourism industry. I am passionate about ensuring my customers have the tools needed to benefit from the products and services we provide, and I monitor accounts from our first contact throughout their contract with us.
Let’s Learn More about Annie!
How did you begin your career in the vacation rental industry?
I was working the front desk.
What was your experience as a female-identifying person (FIP) then vs now?
I wasn’t welcome initially. I had to play in the “ol’ boys’” network for a while.
Who mentored you and your career? Were there FIP’s in leadership roles around you?
Several people, mostly men in leadership roles. Sadly, I often found my hardest critics and non-supporters to be other women.
What is your advice for FIP’s looking to grow their career in the VRM industry?
Ask questions, be curious, and dive right in!
Rented is proud to sponsor the Vacation Rental Women’s Summit this December 2-3 in New Orleans. There’s still time to register here, and join us for an amazing conference different from any other!
